Hé lô!
As a student pursuing a double major in ASL Interpreting and Communication Sciences and Disorders, I aim to integrate not just my linguistic competency but also the cultural sensitivity that I have learned to better serve the Deaf community. I hope to achieve this through community interpreting and by providing quality bilingual services in the speech pathology field in the near future.
For my Senior Project, I've selected the topic of the significance of emotion regulation in the field of interpreting. I dove into my own personal exploration, discussing how this issue has affected me and reflecting on my growth throughout my ITP journey.
